Experimental Atomic, Molecular, & Optical Physics

We use cryogenic buffer-gas cooling and laser spectroscopy to study:

• anisotropic atomic collisions
• molecular collisions
• cold controlled chemistry
• atom and molecular spin dynamics & coherence
• coherent interaction of light with nuclear spin
• nuclear-ensemble based quantum information

our work at UNR began in Summer 2006.
